Wordzic, the daily music Wordle
Every day, Wordzic asks you to find a musical word from an excerpt. The visible squares show its length; fill them, then use the colours and hints to find the answer.
- Listen to the excerptListen closely to the excerpt before you play: it frames the word you need to find. Return to it between guesses, as its mood can guide your next ideas.
- Read the coloursGreen marks a letter in the right place, yellow one found elsewhere, and dark one that is absent. Each guess fills the same number of squares as the answer.
- Use the hintsAfter five valid guesses, you can reveal a single music hint: the title and artist of the song. Use it when the colours are no longer enough to find the hidden word.

Another question?One word a day, renewed each morning. The French edition may have a different song and word from the international edition. It is free and needs no account.
As many as you like: you never lose at Wordzic. Your score is the number of guesses it took and the number of hints you opened.
Start with the number of visible squares: every guess must have that many letters. Use the colours to refine your next guess. After five valid guesses, reveal the song title and artist.
From the sixties to this week's releases. The word can be the artist, the title, or anything the track brings to mind, so one era is never enough.

I am Julien, and I make music games. Wordzic came out of a simple observation: everybody has a soundtrack in their head, and almost nobody gets to play with it.
I design, code and publish these games myself, one word at a time. If a word feels far-fetched, if a hint reads badly, tell me — I read everything, and it often lands in the next morning's grid.
